Hey all, I have one issue with my new Blazer and would like to correct it as soon as possible here.
As the heading states, my ABS and E-brake lights are both on .. they come on and off regularly. I have done a bit of research here and found that it can be quite expensive, or free basically. By cleaning the ground or contacts for the ABS fuse. I'm about to run outside to try this but, knowing my luck if it doesnt work, are there any other tricks of the trade that may correct this? Cheap if not free?
Thanks guys

Ya, just got back in the house here after pulling both the fuses from the interior and under the hood for ABS .. lights went out briefly but popped on again during test drive. I cant seem to see this ground wire people are talking about online that is supposed to be connected to the frame right behind the drivers side headlight .. after i try that i will take it in for an inspection

More research done, girlfriends dad had same issue with 95 Blazer, it was a worn out vehicle speed sensor wire behind the hub. Found a sensor for about 40 bucks in town but would like to check the wiring first. Apparently they wear out easily because of movement?
Does anyone have a diagram or link showing what this wiring looks like and where about behind the hub and such? Anything helps, thanks

i had the same problem with my 2000 gmc jimmy, one of my speed sensors on the hubs had developed rust on it, so i got a new one and problem went away. If you pull off either of your front tires off there is only one wire that runs from the engine compartment to the hub, thats your sensor, need an allen wrench to take it off the hub (1 screw) and then 1-2 hex head bolts to take the wire completely off. i cant remeber, so im not 100%, but you may have to take your brake rotor off to.
