Red face After Market Security System

We just purchased a 1994 S10 Blazer 4x4 that had a Prolock Anti Theft System, my father-in-law owned the vehicle before us, said the system didn't work, so my cousin, who is a certified mechanic, thought he had the thing disabled, well today we had to replace the heater core, after disconnecting the battery, and reconnecting after we got the new heater core in, the stupid theft system armed itself. Now when any door is opened, the system beeps, the horn for the system was broken and removed (thank goodness), but the hazard lights, instrument panel lights and the 4 wheel shifter indicator lights also flash, the hazard lights do not flash if the headlights are turned on....the other lights continue to flash inside the vehicle. Has anyone experienced this....how do we get rid of this security system completely...it seems possessed!!!!

Thanks,

That would be cool, to start cutting, but unfortunately we don't have access to the wiring schematic....so, that said, we aren't sure what the thing is tied in to! Guess will have to check in with the cousin again, thanks for the info.
