Default Airbag 1998 2000 switch & controller sensitivity

Hello fellow Blazers

I switched steering wheel between my 2000 zr2 and 1998 zr2, plugs from airbag did not fit so i soldered the old plug on the wires (everything with the fuse out) and now airbag lights in dash.
Are they not compatible or shall i just delete codes, move the controller module too or give up and switch back.
I need both vehicles to work when im done

2nd
How sensitive are the control module, my plan is to make center seat with subwoofer under it which will touch and shake the control module, will that set off the airbags ?

3rd
Can you buy center seats that fit s10 blazers ? (links ?)

I've been researching steering wheels on and off for the last few months, cause I've been wanting the controls.
However, my 98 has the older style wheel with the wider airbag. I have never seen this style with steering wheel controls.
I would also like to hear a solid solution on this.

The middle seat you're looking for is indeed made. Or was, in the form of a bench. Probably available at your local salvage yard.
