Default Best multifunction switch for 03 Blazer?

I am wanting to buy a new Multi function switch for a 03 Blazer. I don't see AC Delco or Delphi switches listed in the Rock Auto catalog. Neither AAP or Auto Zone carries them. What is the best switch for my 03 with no tilt and no cruise?
I am trying to fix the no brake light, but has tail lights problem. I do have O'Reilly, but it is not as close as Advance and AZ.

I need help on the best brand so I can order the Multifunction switch for my 03 Blazer, not a ZR2. No tilt and no cruise. I did a search and found no recommendations. On ignition items, I always hear be sure to use only AC Delco or Delphi brands! Is it the same for Turn signals? This is the only vehicle I have that's running and need to get this one back on the road.

Default What's a BWD?

Advance Auto carries BWD which turns out to be Borg Warner Development. The reviews on the net say BWD is better than other aftermarket parts such as Wells. The BWD Multifunction switch for a no tilt, no cruise 2003 is 161.99. For some reason , that is more than a w/ cruise and w/ tilt version?! Don't ask why!
Any input on what the best Multifunctional switch would be?

Did you ever check the ground wire?

I installed an aftermarket part from seller AM-Autoparts on ebay. However, mine was for a 2000 Jimmy with tilt/cruise. My P/N was A1ZCC00033. I got it for <$60. From the outside, the part was virtually the same as OEM. It doesn't look cheap and the switches feel nice and solid. It has been working fine for the last couple of months. I know this might not be what you are looking for, but it is something......

jkyle, I haven't checked the ground wire because I think I had read you have to remove the intake and go down through the engine to get to it. I was hoping you cound get underneath and get to the rad. support bolts where the ground wires are.

Default jim

You have to remove the airbox to see it..4 Phillips screws and 1 10mm nut and breather box comes out..15 min job..easy as pie, you could do it blindfolded....but hey, your SUV..

jkyle, I did remove the air filter box and found the two 10 mm screws. They are the ones on the left of the rad. on that wall below the head lights? I took them out , cleaned them and the mounting surfaces and tightened them up. Looked good. But the brake lights still don't work, but the tail lights , hazards , and so on, do. I always like to do the easier 'possible fixes' first. I did get to clean out the dirt in the air box and gently tap out the filter. I found a plastic cover lying in the wires below the air box. It looks like a protective cover for an electrical terminal to prevent shorts. Any ideas on what that might be and where it goes?
Back to the BWD multifunction switch. I will follow the video by 1AAuto and let you know what happens.

Jim, that cover could have fallen off the bottom of your under hood fuse block. As far as the easier 'possible fixes' the brake switch just above the pedal is a somewhat common fail. Mine was under $20 and has a lifetime warranty from oriellys.
