Best thing to keep battery cables from coroding every few days

What should I use to keep my battery cables from cording every week or two

Which terminal? Could mean the battery is under charging or overcharging depending on which side is corroded

Its always the hot side that gets coroded.

According to Google, that means it's overcharging.

I would make sure the post and terminal are clean, tight, and making a good connection.

How old is the battery? If it's leaking, might speed up the corrosion. Maybe time for a new one

After you have thoroughly cleaned both the posts and cable clamps, coat them with Vasoline to protect them from corrosion.
