Default Better alternator and big 3?

Well right now I have 8 extra lights on my jimmy, and a sub and amp.

Four lights are 130 watt each and the other four are 55 watt lights, amp is 300 watts.

Anyways Today my friend wanted to see all of my lights on at the same time. When I put them all on I noticed that instead of the volts hovering a bit below 14 it wen't to the red just about where it says 9 volts...

I knew it would go down but not that much, plus I never have to run everything at once, so I was wondering do you think the big 3 with 4 awg wire will help or should I get a alternator out of a 1500. I think its the AD244 with 145A from the 1500?

Start with the Big 3 and see what that does for you and if that's not enough upgrade the alt. You will want the big 3 done anyway if you upgrade the alt so may as well start there I have a DR44G alt with 0awg Big 3 in my truck and with efans on high, all my lights on, radio on, and in gear at an idle I have zero volt drop

I recommend ordering it off ebay or something. Sky high car audio has some good inexpensive 0ga wire as well as solid copper lugs to terminate the wire.

Regular auto stores do not carry something like that. Wayy too specialized for them. Not to mention most of it runs over $10 a foot.
