I have a 2002 Blazer LS 4 door. My 3rd brake light needs to be replaced but I can find one to fit. I’ve ordered 2 that are “exact matches” but don’t fit. These both have a longer screw hole and tabs. My old light has recessed screw holes and no tabs. There is no part number on my old light. I’m including pictures of my old light and the mount on my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm having the same issue with my Daughter's '04 blazer, same mounting as yours. I too have ordered 2 different replacements and they are the same with the longer screw hole and tabs.
I did eventually find one. Had to go to the junk yard and pull it off an old junked Blazer. But of all the Blazers/Jimmys that were there, there were only about 3 or 4 that matched the correct light. So if you go, grab as many good ones as you can and store them. I got an extra for the future. These are clearly getting impossible to find. Hope this helps and good luck!
