Default Cluster panel fix/replace

The lights and all of the gauges but the speedo for my cluster panel were out/not working, so I pulled the cluster panel out to attempt to fix it. Put it back in and now none of my gauges work. If I purchase a replacement off eBay what will I have on my hands? Also if I was to buy a new cluster with a tachometer. What suggestions would be given for my vehicle. It’s a 91 2door 4wd. Thank you in advance!

Could easily be a short, due to dust/dirt. Try getting under there with a brush and compressed air. You may be surprised what you can fix just by cleaning.

Where would I clean though, behind the cluster panel itself or the fuse box?

Everywhere you can reach, where you see wires..... connection ends especially. Including the fuse panels. And wipe the rear surface of the instrument panel.
I remember when I was 16, noticed my Buick had no power one day when I turned the key. No door chime, no dome light.... nothing. Opened the hood, saw my battery was dusty. Nothing super dirty, either. I ran my finger across the top middle of the battery. Chime starts goin' and the dome light comes back on. Umm, yeah.
