Compass/outside air temp screen shows nothing

I Recently bought my blazer with the screen thing on the top not working, Anybody else have this problem? If so id like to know how to fix it.

nothing as in shows (--).....wiring, sensor issue
or shows (C)...needs calibration
or literally nothing on the screen at all?

try pushing the buttons? I know you can turn them off after going through the temp millage ect..

Nothing on the screen at all. I can try giving it a good "SMACK". Ha ha!

If you have a dial to vary the brightness of it, it could just be turned all the way down. I have done that before lol
