Default Compressor won't disengage

I am having trouble with my ac compressor. When the air is on, it will not disengage. It does disengage when I turn the air off, so I'm guessing it's electrical?

Is there an easy way to test the low pressure switch? From what I can tell, it looks like I would have to empty the refrigerant to get it out.
