Default Coolant temp sensor wire, Cant find it!

Hey guys I just got done replacing my lower intake gaskets. After putting everything back together, we noticed we couldn't find the plug or wire for the coolant tempature sensor. The sensor right next to the thermostat. I don't remember where the wire comes from. This is getting really frustrating, can any when help me with maybe a diagram or picture of your engine showing this wire, so I can see where it comes off of. It's a 99 4.3 blazer.

This is on my '99 Safari with 4.3, but should be the same:

Should be in the same harness as the EGR valve wire (that bundle on the left).

Thank you so much, I'm gonna check when I get home from work. But that's a great picture and I think it's exactly what I needed. It is set up just like my 4.3. I'll let you what I come up with later.

No problem - I take lots of pictures when I do work, for my reference later and for anyone else who might need it

I believe it was sometime in '99 that they combined the two sensors which eliminated the one at the t-stat. So your truck may not have a sensor in that location, rather just the one located in the driver side cylinder head.
