Default Courtesy Light Issues

Having to ask this actually makes me feel dumb, but i recently got a 1998 Blazer. I am having an issue with the courtesy dome light not coming on when i open the doors. I checked all the pin switches and fuses and everything seems fine. My question that makes me feel dumb to ask is that i cant seem to locate any switch letting me select dome light off, on or when door opens. All i have for light switches on the dash are fog, dimmer, dome over ride and headlights. Theres a lens over the back seats, just inside the back hatch and over the front seats, but theres no switch on either. Am i missing something?

dome overide is on and off. if it is out that means the lights will turn on with doors, pushed in means lights off unless you push the dimmer all the way up. and with the lights they are an all or nothing thing with the doors. also if you do not like the auto headlights you can push the dome over ride 4 times. 1 in, 1 out, 1in and 1 out and it will turn off the auto headlights/running lights.
