I have been having my own problems related to starter , no crank, neutral switch - ignition switch etc..so i have been around the web - and remember a thread - where they were having the same issue and the problem resolved after putting a new set of plug wires and dist cap and rotor.. - I know it doesnt sound related - but i believe this was the fix for this.. something to consider

I had this problem earlier this year, and again this morning. Earlier this year it turned out that my intake manifold was leaking coolant down the back of the engine onto the NSS. So I had the intake gaskets fixed and then the engine ate a rod bearing about 2 months later. So I replaced the engine, and put new gaskets on the new engine. So this morning I had the same problem, and I checked and I am extremely low on coolant.
