dome lights not working

dome lights not working

2000 s10 4 door
dome lites work fine if the dome light override switch is pushed. but the lights dont come on when you open any of the four doors or the cargo door. any ideas?????

I believe the Body Control Module controls the dome light from inputs other than the headlight switch.
