Default Door locks/mirror controls/rear glass fuse keeps blowing

02 ZR2 keeps blowing fuse. Chased wires don't see any broken/worn. I know it's shorting somewhere but dont see it. Anyone fight this?

Can you isolate which part has the problem? Operate each switch and button and check to see which one blows the fuse.

To answer your question no I havent tried unhooking individual switches. Tried opening/closing doors, operating switches couldn't get it to blow. Next morning I got in it and it and it was blown.

Does everything work correctly when the fuse is good?

Since your blazer has power mirrors they also have defrost. That is turned on with the rear defrost. Any problems with that? Ordinarily the first place I'd take apart is the drivers door switch panel. It's the one that gets wet when you get in and out in the rain and has locks and mirror controls.

Haven't explored that with defrosters. Contemplated changing switches in drivers door but hate blindly changing parts. It's a pain in the *** changing a fuse everytime I need in the back.

I blindly poke around with a meter. Defroster is just a joker in the deck that came to mind. What do you mean by "every time I need in the back"?

Rear glass won't open with fob or dash switch.

Has the dash been removed? It's not hard to pinch wires wrestling it back together. Do you have an aftermarket alarm or any other bat things? Another place could be the wiring that's exposed when the tailgate is open.
