I just bought a 2000 GMC Jimmy SLE. After further inspection it looks like the car was in an accident and the drivers door was replaced. The power locks do not work, when I hit the lock button I can hear them trying to work but none of the doors lock or unlock. If i pull the 15a fuse thats on the panel to the left of the steering wheel the locks will lock/unlock, but that is the only way I can get the power locks to work. I was able to get the power locks to work once for about half an hour and in that half hour I was able to program a keyfob to the car so I could lock/unlock everything from the keyfob, however after a few hours the keyfob would not control the locks either.
In addition to the power locks not working, the power windows are only operational from the drivers control. I can roll all four windows down from the drivers seat only, none of the other seat controls work.
The power mirrors are not adjustable from the power control on the driver side either.
What could be the problem? I'm not too car savvy at all, but I'm hoping its something simple like just replacing the master switch, but I have no clue. Thank you in advance for any help.
