Default electircal problems (radio and tccm)

i bought a used 1999 blazer with the 4x4 ATC. when i bought it i noticed that everynow and again when i would start it the clock would be reset back at 1:00. none of the radio stations would reset though. this was an issue to me really... the rear window wiper button next to the radio didn't work as well. not sure if someone had got in and messed up some wires or what... now i'm having problems though with the ATC. all the lights come on (4x4 AUTO, 2wd, 4hi, and 4lo) intermittently. they sometimes flash and sometimes stay on for a bit. also, when i'm accelerating and the lights are all on the truck loses power and rpms and gets really jumpy. however, if i manually shift through the gears it doesn't do this. the 4wd service light has never came on... the service engine light came on a few weeks ago...

anyway, does anyone think this might be exclusively a wiring problem or is this one of the tell tale signs of the TCCM going bad??
