I just got this 1997 Chevy Blazer and we notice that when you
try to start it, it won't if we take the cables off and charge the battery and leave the cables off all night, the car will start, does that mean the battery is alright and could we have a short in the
wires and is there a history of this with the blazers.

Im not super smart on mechanical stuff but i do alot of car audio. and there is a sensor that your altenator runs into right behind it and your car has a hard time starting if that socket is bad or if its not hooked up. When i was doing my install i had to unplug it so i could replace my altenator and forgot to hook it back in and my car had a really hard time starting. just one thing to check
