Electric mirrors and rear WW
Not sure if these two non-working items could be related, but it isn't a fuse issue. Neither electric mirror works nor does the rear windshield wiper/washer. I generally know how to trace these problems, but with the TB being new (to us) was wondering if there might be a common junction point to look closely at?

Don't believe they are connected. The rear motors are a VERY common problem and the switch my be bad on the mirror. I replaced both my mirrors with new and it was the switch. ENJOY your new TB

So is there a way to test the switch? I have it out and have power to 2 of the terminals, one on each side of the connector. I'm guessing I could jumper from a pin that is "hot" to one that isn't hot and check mirror functions. The pic shows the hot pins circled in red.

Did you find the problem ?
I have the same issue with my 2001 Blazer. I think it my be the mirror switch as water leaks in from the door seal and lands directly on the switch ! |
Neither of my power mirrors work either, but my rear wiper and sprayer work.
I'm pretty handy with electrical troubleshooting, so I'll post up if I find the problem with my mirrors. |
Neither of my mirrors worked completely. I took the control switch apart to clean and re-lube. They have been working for the past year. Hopefully, yours will be similarly simple.
