electric park floor shift

Default electric park floor shift

i have a 1997 blazer 4.3 4l60e 4x4, having problem with the floor shifter not releasing from park. does anyone know what i need to do? any help would really help. i just got the blazer. its in good shape. just needs a lil tlc.

This might be a silly question, but do you put your foot on the brake pedal when you try shifting out of park?

kinda to the front wheel, lol, yea i know to do that. it has 4 wires on it, 2 green, one red, one black, red is hot, with the key on,

lift the shift boot cover should see a nylon tab upper right side push towards drivers side while pushing shift button. hope this helps
