Cool Halo Lights Help

I am wanting to buy this set of lights off of ebay:

1998 2004 Chevy Blazer Black Halo Projector Headlights altezza Tail Lights | eBay

I have 2 questions:

1) Has anyone owned these and what is your experience with them? I am mainly concerned with the headlights.

2) Are these HID or Halogen lights? I know, newb question. I just haven't had much experience with lights and I need to know because I can't have HID lights where I live. I would get a ticket within the first week.

Thanks for your Help!

The quality of them are bad. Light output is just brutal. Its not worth it for a look of the halos. I have seen them in person. My buddy has them

To be honest no halo lights like that are worth it. Especially with the built in projectors. Better off with stock. But it's what you want. In the end its your truck

Yeah it would definitely bother me if the lights sucked. I have to agree with staying stock over having crappy lights.

I have no past experience working with lights, but would certainly be interested in doing this if I knew more about what all it involved.

I just have to be careful to make sure I am legal. They will pull you over for anything in my town. They pulled me over 3 times for my window tint, which was only 5% over the legal limit at the time. Are halogen projectors illegal too? I wasn't aware. I guess I never really thought about that.

I would love to do HID lights, I just don't think I could get away with doing them.

There is no legal way to put HID's into a car that came with halogens from the factory.

Putting halogen projectors would be legal, since your truck came with halogens. Would be cheaper to do as well. I will do some searching and see which cars came from factory with halogen projectors. it would not be super easy to put them in as they will need to be retrofitted.
