Hey Guys - I'm sure this has been discussed but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I know the factory fog switch is a 'momentary' switch, which is why it must be hit each time you want to turn your fogs on or off. What is the mod to have your fogs turn on automatically with your headlights - thereby basicly bypassing the swich? I know there was a mod for this on the newer TBs (using a diode to jump to fuses under the back seat for the fogs and low beams), so I was wondering if there was something similar to do this with the Blazers? Basicly I just want the fogs to come on whenever the low beams are on... any options?

If someone knows where this was already discussed and can just point me to that thread that would be great... thanks in advance!

 

I'm not sure if it's been covered but I have 2 questions.
Why & are you sure it's legal to have them on without reason IE: fog, snow, heavy rain?
You possibly just could set up a relay that's activated off the headlights & splice that into the fog light wiring after dosconnecting it from the BCM or in cab switch.

 

Technically yeah, they are only supposed to be on in the inclimate weather, but it's not really enforced. I'm just lazy and don't like turning them on each time. Contrary to others, I do think they help a decent amount.

 

The Bravada factory switch can be set to have them come on as soon as you turn on your parking lights. Why not just get the switch from a Bravada?
