Default Headlights not working

Hey guys so i have a problem with the blazer.
I have hid kit for headlights and also fog lights..

I was driving home the other night with headlights and foglights on and then all of a sudden my headlights and foglights turn off.i have to hit the foglight button and then only my headlights work. When i push the foglight button again it turns my headlights off..

The foglight button does not light up either now....

Also my daytime running lights were not working either...

When i would turn my high beams on my low beams would stay on and my high beams would be on...

Now when i turn my high beams on they work correctly and my low beams turn off but i still have the issue of when i hit foglight button it turns my low beams off..

Sorry if its a bit jumbled up i just wanted to get the most info put here to see if someone has an answer for me...

Thanks!

Just had kind of the same problem with my 91 blazer. Headlights worked on hi-beam, but when I switched to low beam they'd go completely off.

Anyway, my problem was a ground wire. The secondary ground wire that runs from the negative battery post to the frame was caked with grease and dirt. Pulled the wire out and cleaned the end up, cleaned the frame up and hit it with a little sandpaper. The headlights worked perfectly after that.

on a side note, when you have low beams and fog lgihts lit up, when you switch to high beams, tpyically your low beams turn off along with fog lights as wells since you dont need them. its all in the relays. legally you cant have more than 4 lights onthe road at once, but since you dont need your fog lights lit with high beams since it defeats the purpose, the relay turns them off

When turning my high beams on my low beams were staying on but now that part is normal when i turn high beams on the low beams turn off...

Now not only i dont have fog lights i only have 1 low beam working.....

my brights are working fine now but no fogs and only 1 high beam..Also if i push my fog light button it turns my lowbeams off and puts on my day time running lights

my friends chevy 1500 is doing a problem similar to this but it also involves the taillights. it sounds like you have some bad relays, whichever controls the lights. i believe there are a few and they are all connected, find them, replace them,

also check the switch connections make sure they arent grounding out, and follow the wires through the master harness and make sure notihng has melted out or things are gruonded together

So i ended up taking out the low beam bulbs and fog light bulbs.
My head lights work with out any fog light bulbs plugged in and when i press the fog light button it lights up (thats with no fog light bulbs connected)But it still turns my head lights off...

Then if i plug bulbs in and press the fog light button it just clicks and turns my head lights off.But the button does not light up

So it has something to do with my fog lights so i guess at least i have low beams now lol...
