Default help with hazard lights

my 95 blazer has a strange problem. with the hazard button in the off or raised position my turn signal and brake lights dont work except for the chms led strip which does. with the button depressed the brake and turn signal lights work normally but the hazard lights dont work at all. is it the relay? or has a previous owner played with the wiring? HELP

Ha, you need a new multifunction switch or possibly just the hazard switch needs replaced. I could wiggle mine to the left and i would have break lights so i wedged a piece of card board to hold it and i have lights but sooner or later i will have to replace my turn sig. Switch.

I agree play around with the hazzard switch Push it slightly or pull it slightly and see if your lights start working correctly

On my brothers 2nd gen i had to shim something into the hazard switch to get home with out being pulled over

Been there..... Had a 96 S10. Broke the switch - Dealer wanted $400 just for the switch. Had a carpenters pencil wedged in the dash for 2 years before buying a COMPLETE column at a swap meet for $20

Or, possibly the hazard flasher
