Default HID foglights

OK, so i'm putting my clear euro LED bumper turnsignal/parking lights today and I also just bought a new valance from LMC with the fog light holes instead of the tow hooks. NOW i ran into the problem of where to get fog lights....

I looked on LMC and they are just way over priced for the factory ones. SO i figured I would ask my friend who put aftermarket foglights from advance auto in his camaro and ran HIDs in them. Ran his own wiring and switch. Problem is, he didn't have much feedback or much to explain....

SOOO with that being said. Is it possible to buy aftermarket rectangular glass lense driving lights that take the H3 bulb with your own wiring and switch....and run HIDs to them? Im curious to know how the ballasts would run to your "homemade wiring" and so forth?

Any info would be great because my bumper with no fog lights is on the way
