Default hid kits

Good morning all,
I was wondering if I could get some information about the best places to get hid kits for a 99 blazer. I want 8000k lowbeams and 6000k highs. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated.

anywhere, google it. i would recommend 6000K 35 watt for low beams and 100watt halogens for high beams. hids arent very good for high beams. ive got 6000K low beams and 100watt yellow halogen high beams in my 2000 suburban and its awesome. but i have a lot of fog around here and hids suck in fog, the yellow cuts thru the fog and are actually brighter than the hids as far as spectrum of light goes.

Hidextra.com is where i ordered mine from. No issues at all and they are plug and play. Do a forum search to find more info.

I would suggest getting them at theretrofitsource.com They have the best customer service and products I have seen anywhere.

Disclaimer: Putting hids in halogen reflector housings will blind other drivers regardless how you aim them.

Definitely not trying to blind people, had silverstar ultras on my last car, being brighted when you have your lowbeams on is no fun. I will check out both sites. Thanks for the responses.

Just because you don't get flashed, doesn't mean you aren't blinding people. There is a reason I took mine out and replaced them with projectors. I used to hate it when people would tell me that I was blinding people, I even put harsh posts up about how I was sick of people telling others that. Now I know better

The simple fact is filament lights produce a different kind of light than hids do, and you need to have housings designed for them to properly use the light.
