Default Horn wiring question?

Need to be pointed in the right direction. 94 s10 blazer. While replacing the steering wheel, I busted/snapped the plastic piece on the column that hold the spring loaded wire for the horn. Now no horn. I bought one of the napa horn button to wire in and mount on the steering wheel. What is the best way to wire this? It came with no directions. Where do I grab or what color is the horn lead to bring to the switch?

Wouldn't recommend mounting to steering wheel.
Mount it on the under side of the dash out of the way of you knees.

The way that the original horn works. When you press the horn pad on the steering wheel. The wire you broke makes contact with ground. That completes the ground needed for the horn relay to kick in and send 12v+ from the horn relay to the horn. Not the horn pad on the steering wheel to the horn.

If you can trace the wire that is broken down through the steering column and find it under the dash at the base of the steering column.
Connect that wire to the button from NAPA.
Connect a ground to the other side of the button.
When you press button the horn should work.
