DDM Tuning is the cheepist i found. I have low beam an fog lights done. No need for the high beeams. Cuz every time you turn them on a car comes. 55watt in low beam. 35watt in fog. low beam was about a $100 bucks i think. all you have to do is buy the buld an ballast an istall it. You might have to switch the polirty of the wires an the build side of the harnest, easy to do pull the connectors out an flip them. mout the ballest some wear close an your done.

yep, u can also buy kits off ebay for $50. just know what size bulb u have and look them up. its as simple as pluggin them in and mounting ballasts. 35watt will be fine. just dont buy the brand xentek or sumthing like that. it starts with an 'x'. they flicker when they r on. and as for the polarity, means flip the connectors 180 degrees. might have to do black to red on one side.......ez to install, and great for night driving.

I too need help on this, but for different reasons. I just bought my first Blazer only a few days ago. Been sprucing it up and what not. The problem is, the previous owner put HIDs in it and one of the low beams just died. It says it's 35W. How do I figure out where to get a new one and would I be better off converting back to stock?

I would go back to stock. get two relays and build a harness that is triggered by the stock headlight harness, but allows power straight from the battery to power the headlights and get some decent bulbs. I personally use silverstars, have been for a number of years and never had any issues with them. This allows all 14.XX volts from the alternator to go to the headlights rather than only 11.xx or 12.xx after it filters through the stock wiring of your truck.

If you really want to get HID, all you need is to jump on E-Bay and search for your size bulb and you will be back to blinding other drivers with your scattered glare in no time.

the 35W refers to the Ballast. there is 35 and 55W. In my mustang I have 55W, but then I also retrofitted bizenon projectors into the lights to control the out put. I would never put HID into a stock housing. Stock is not designed for HID and due to filament placement ad HID arc placement the out put is differently aimed.

Thanks, schollianmj. I decided to return to stock and already put in the new assemblies. The HID set up was just proving to be a huge pain. Plus, I didn't wanna be the guy on the road everybody wants to run off the road. haha. The HIDs were messing with electrical power on start up and they took a bit to power up when switching from high beams, so I was essentially driving in the dark at that point. I highly recommend stock to everyone.
