Default Left headlight does not turn on

So think this is probably either ground or fuse. But just a quick question to see if anything has had this problem before so hopefully I can go directly to the problem. It is rather cold here in Winnipeg and the less amount of time I spend outside searching for the problem the better!

Anyways, fuse or ground?
Left headlight neither the high beam or lo beam turns on. Are these on the same fuse and or ground?

Left light has been flickering a little bit a few days ago coming on and off with bumps, now it has just turned off. Which is what is leading me to think it might be a ground issue. I have HID's in both high and lo with a remote quad beam.

I would check all the wiring for the quad beam ect.
I am not sure how HID's work on your truck, but the factory harness does not have a dedicated ground on the firewall. i believe the factory harness is grounded through the BCM, or computer.

If the HID's have a dedicated ground, I would check those as well.
So, check the grounds for the HID's if the kit has a dedicated ground wire, if its not that or it doesnt have one, then start checking the quad beam wiring.

Hmm, possibly quad beam, would explain the left side low beam, what is throwing me off is that it is both high and low on the left side, but also the quad beam is on the left side. Think I will try this first since I can check part of it from inside the heated cab

Was hoping someone might have had this problem before, I will post the solution once I get a chance to figure it out

I think there is a ground on the core support behind the left headlight, but I'm not sure what it's for.

Narrowed it down to a short affecting the left side low beam. Fuse is blown for the left side headlamp assembly and blows when low beams are on, which explains why the high beam on the left side does not work either. Now to find the short
