Default Low battery charge

I have a 2001 Blazer. I got an Odyssey 1230PC battery a couple months ago, and a little while after I installed a new AD244 alternator for suburbans, hummers, etc. About 2 months ago i had my car off and my headlights on, pointing at another car while my friend was changing the brakes on it. When he was done I had to turn the key two or three times to start my car, but I didn't think anything much of it. Ever since then my car has been taking a second or two longer than usual to start. I checked the battery when I woke up this morning and it was at 12.34 and 12.84 is where the battery should be when it is fully charged. I bought a battery charger (Battery Defender Pro 12 Volt 3 Amp Battery Charger: BatteryMart.com) that I've been using throughout the last week, but when I don't use it then I still have a low charge. When I test the battery with the car on I get 13.8V. I guess something could be draining it but I haven't changed anything since putting the alternator in. Any ideas?

I'm not sure I would call 12.34V a low charge... It's not optimal, but not all that low either.

If you had to turn your key a few times, the problem might be in the ignition switch which is a somewhat common problem with these trucks.

But it should be charging up to about 12.8, the battery and alternator are both new. And I only had to turn the key a few times once. Now I just gotta turn the kkey and hold it for a second, it's only a minor issue, but still.
