No headlights after motor swap?!?

So here is the deal, I've been dealing with a failed motor swap. My buddy has a shop and had one of his new guys test out his skills on my blazer. He failed. We finally got the new motor in but I don't have high or low beams everything else works tho. I checked the bulbs the fuses on the inside of the truck but I get nothing. Before I go out and fiddle with it I just wanted to know what your guesses were as to what's going on. Thanks for the input.

Year and model would make this a bit easier, since wiring changed through the years.

Check for ground wires that did not get reattached - firewall, radiator support, fender wells, engine, ect. :icon_emm: :icon_doh:

wasnt the headlights in that year + grounded by the BCM? I might be mistaken.....

Okay, so I checked and there is a ground right by where the harness connects to the headlight on both ends and they were nice n clean n tight. I can recheck fuses. I did notice that the passenger DTRL was clipped would that cause an issue? Keep in mind this is low beam and high beam on both sides and no dtrl either.
