no interior lighting
I have a 2000 blazer and when I open the doors the inside lights do not come on. I can override them to confirm the bulbs are working...and when I press the remote unlock they come on?? Also, the radio goes off when I turn the key off (it usually stays on for a short time)
Any ideas on this?

Sounds like a short between the door switches and the lights, or just a bad switch. Reason I think it's a short is because the radio immediately shuts off when you remove the key. Either that, or the Body Control Module (BCM) is bad.

The RAP, (retained accessory power) relay, timer, fuse or circuits may have an issue. That is the system that keeps power applied, (for a few minutes) to certain accessories after the key is shut off, and before the doors are opened. Some of the circuits do go through the BCM, but not all of them. Check the basics, if you come up empty, you'll need a bi-directional scan tool capable of accessing and commanding the BCM & network.
