Lol.. W the fuel pump shut off you could jump the posts all day and not have a running vehicle tho lol..

You would probably have to cut the main big wire going to the starter for that to happen. Would require a high amp switch. A lot of drag racers use those on the back of their cars in case they wreck

Perhaps put a disconnect switch in the ignition. With the amperage the starter draws, I don't think killing the starter is a good idea. The lack of fuel will cause a potential thief go somewhere else. They do NOT want to make noise cranking and it not start.

On that matter is it possible to keep the gauge up while putting a switch? I mean keeping it from dropping once i hit the switch?
