OEM mystery plug under dash 1998 blazer
Hello all, I happened to notice this connection under the drivers side dash of my 1998 blazer while checking to see if it was prewired for steering wheel audio controls. I did not see the flat four wire connector for the audio controls - I don't even know if GM was running those wires in 1998, I know the audio controls were not found on the 98 steering wheels - but found this connector in the same general vicinity. I looked at my other 1998 and it has the same connector. I looked at a 1999 and did not see this square connector, but I did see that one was prewired with the flat four wire connector for audio controls. I have been perusing through my 1999 factory service manuals, but have not yet stumbled onto the answer yet (if it's even in there...) Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
