Default Offroad light on/off switches

What does eveyone use to turn their offroad light switches on and off? Im new to aux lighting and was wondering if getting somthing like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Daystar-KU8001...4948289&sr=1-4

Would be a good idea to get with my lights. Looking at having 4 forward facing and 2 rear facing wired seperately. Any help is appreciated.

That would work. Are you going to use relays?

I got toggle switches in my truck

and its best to use a relay so the wires and the switches dont overload
relays tend to make the lights brighter also

Edit: here is a diagram

Id would not get the power from the fuse box your better off getting it from the battery

Actually, I think mine are hooked up with everything Gio said not to do lol.

My switch is tucked up under near the manual shift 4wd is. But mine is wired without a relay and to the fuse block.

But my switch is just a black switch with on/off, it has no light or indicator to tell you it's on.

its ok to get the power from the fuse box but I get the power from the battery to avoid problems in the future (just in case)

Oh, I understand. I just didn't want a clutter of stuff around my battery. The fuse block is so much closer lol. But how much brighter does a relay make the lights? Mine seem to be decently bright the way they are.

Relays also allow you to use tiny wire to the switch. Mine are push button computer switches run with 24 gauge cat5 phone cable. I was able to fit 12 in the overhead console. I have my 4 offroad lights on one switch and my fire lights on 2, my siren uses 3, leaving for plenty of more lights to be added later.
