1998 2 door, just replaced the battery, truck will only start with a jump. ALt is working got 14 v on the guage, turn something on and she dips and comes right back. cleaned the terminal ends when the new batt went in. Got lights, turn the key and is click click click, no start. hook up cables and she starts right up.

Have you checked the connections at the starter & the grounds on the vehicle?
Sounds like it could be either a loose connection at the starter solinoid or a ground issue.

Check the battery. Just because it is new does not mean it is good.
