Nah i dont think so, my friends 95 had OBD2 and it had the old Vortec design.

afaik 95 was the changeover year to OBDII, but there were a few tweaks in the system for 97.

Actually I'm gonna rewire my truck as soon as I find a LS engine that's in good shape the idiots don't think is made of gold. Still not sure I wanna hang with the bubble body crowd lol.
