Default overhead console computer

my overhead console has stopped working. wondering if it is loose wire harness, bulbs, what? anyone had this problem 99 chevy blazer 4.3L

Take it off. Use a volt meter and test the wires, if there is any power going to it, and then go from there!

Is hard to to remove this? Like any special trick or tip? Such as watch out for the little plastic tabs it don't take much to break them, remove the this 1st, etc...

Well this past weekend I was helping chevyheavy replace the plugs, wire, cap, etc... once we completed that we move to the over head display. We found the 1 screw and removed it so we could being the search on why it stopped working. The over head will slide front to back about 1/2 inch but that's it, something is still holding but we can't see what??? Has anyone removed thiers? If so what are we missing / still holding [sm=dontgetit.gif]?
