New to the forum, been lurking for my own information on other things to fix this up but I have not found any good information on the mini overhead DIS. Mine has not worked since I bought it. Never seen it turn on. Recently finally decided to check it out and took off the covers and didn’t see anything abnormal except in the screen top left corner it kind of looks like something has exploded. Attached image. Do you guys think this would just not let any display show? As well as does anyone have some good diagrams for the wires and what fuse it’s connected to.

That display looks burned out. I'd recommend you get a replacement from a wrecking yard.

To confirm the years with compatible parts you can go to an online GM parts vendor to see if the part number for yours works in other years.

 

Yeah definitely was thinking that, wasn't to sure if maybe that was just a part of it that would be burned out since there is so much that doesn't look burnt out. But I'll go look for another screen/display.
