Default PCM replacement

I had an intermittent limp mode issue with my 2000 Blazer. I might have saved myself a lot of money if I had checked the right fuse. Not sure the fuse was the problem since the transmission shop I took it to ran a new power wire to the PCM. After they replaced it and changed all the internal electrical components and the wiring harness inside the transmission. But it's fixed now and I'm not going to get any of my money back. My issue now is the tach quit working. Local mechanic says it might have something to do with the flashing of the new PCM. Is there a separate operation to match the tach to the new PCM? Which fuse actually powers the PCM? According to the fuse box diagram several fuses power the PCM.
