Default Please look at this picture of my head light switch. Is this normal?

Took this picture with my phone so sorry its not great. Would someone answer this one for me? Is this switch lighting up properly? Should the interior dome light indicator light up (above the dial) or does it not for some reason. I've had this '05 blazer since it was new, but I've been replacing all the interior lights and can remember if this one lights up or not. I can't figure out why GM would make it so wouldn't light up, anyone know?
Thanks a lot

Bill

I will look at my '95 Chevy S10 Blazer tomorrow night and see if it does or not. I was thinking about change over to green leds but don't know yet.

I don't think mine does. I've replaced all of the bulbs I could find in mine, but it might be different for your year.

My '04 Tahoe is the same way. The dimmer side doesn't light up. I took it apart and there isn't a bulb on that side for some reason. Was going to be one of the things I correct at some point. Just haven't had the time yet.

Mine is the same way and wondered about it as well.

Anyone have any ideas why they would not light this part of the switch. Would you not want to know where the interior done light and dimmer are in the dark? I don't get it! But at least it's not broken
