Hello, had the same problem with my Blazer... One side would not go forward and the other would not go back. I ended up removing the switch on both, taking them apart, cleaning them up (really dirty in there) and putting them back together and both worked perfectly. If I remember correctly, the switch was a bear to get back together, especially with shaky hands like mine.
