stock factory radio the clock stays on 24/7. even when i pull out the radio fuse the radio itself will quit working but the clock still stays on. i even went so far to pull every fuse out one by one with no luck, the door switches work also. is it a bad radio itself?

 

the clock will have a different power supply than the radio even though they are the same unit
Its probably fused on a self resetable breaker along with something like the headlights

The stock radio is not that great to start with IMO
Lots of them had display issues where they burnt/ dim'd out
