On the rear of your blazer, the Yellow wire going to the left side light is for the combination Brake and Turn signal filaments. The Dark Green wire going to the right side light is for the the combination Brake and Turn signal filaments. Each is fused independently.

There are 2 bulbs on each side and Brake and Turn is combined on both sides.

This leaves the brown wires at each taillight for the Park Lamps, and finally the grounds are all black. The CHMSL is a Light blue wire at the roof over the liftgate, and is energized only when brake is pressed.

The trailer connector has these same wire colors Except light blue triggered at the same time with the vehicle lights, but they are fused with separate fuses.

IIRC, In order to separate the functions, you can purchase a module that can separate the two functions at a Hitch or Trailer sales place.
