Default Rear Wiper Motor Replaced- still not working

I just replaced my rear wiper motor on my 97 blazer assuming the motor was shot. After replacing, there is still no response from turning it on. Anything I should look for in particular? I should also note that I have to press hard on the switch to get the washer fluid (rear) to work. Switch/Wiring/ or Relay problem?

Check fuse 17 make sure that's not blown.
You can also pull the switch unit out and check it/clean it/or pick yard it (for a cheap pop in)
