Default Remote start problem

Hello all!
I'm relatively new to the forum although I've been trolling for quite a while. I grew up with a 91 Jimmy (which I loved) but moved into the Celicas for a while (I own two now lol, one is heavily modified) but anyways I've owned a 98 Blazer for a year or so now and the previous owner had remote start installed but the fuel pump was bad on the Blazer when I bought it so he thought it was installed properly, but wouldn't start due to little/no fuel pressure. I installed a new fuel pump and fuel filter and still had problems with it and decided to ignore it for a while (the remote start that is, the truck fired up great!). So I tried playing with the remote start again a few months later and it worked all day, but when I tried the remote start after my blazer had been sitting for a few hours (in the 45/50 degree weather) it would not start with the remote. I tried to start it with the key as well afterwards and it would just turn over and die. So I went inside and went out 5/10 minutes later and started it with the key and the truck started, I also tried the remote start again and it fired right up. So I feel like the remote start is installed right, but it may be some underlying problem with the truck. I'm hoping someone may have some insight into my issue.
Thanks in advance!!!!

Sounds like the remote starter is working fine. But more like a fuel delivery problem
