I'm getting ready to install my Avital 4103 remote start and keyless entry and I ran into a small problem. The install manual shows for the trunk release that a relay is required. If the trunk release wire is already a negative wire then what is the point of using this relay? I have the same problem with the light flash also. The module sends a positive output but shows incorporating a relay.
Vehicle is a 94 S10 Blazer 4 door.
