Wiring up a Remote Start, Door Locks Don't Work

I'm sure someone here has installed an alarm or remote start on their truck with power locks. I'm having an issue with them on my Bravada. I'm supposed to tap into the Keyless Entry Module above the driver's side knee bolster. There are wires going into the module; light blue is the lock wire and white is unlock. When I bought the truck it didn't come with the keyless entry remote(s) but the module is there and it's plugged in, but after tapping into it, I'm not able to lock the doors. I'm sure the remote start is good and the wiring to it is all good, but I'm wondering if there's any fuse that controls the Keyless Entry System or anything like that.
Would I be able to tap into the wires at the driver's door switch? I guess it would be the same unlock/lock wires...

You may have to use relays. I do not know if you can tap straight off of these wires. Also, do you know if you have a negative trigger or positive trigger at the RKE module?

You should test your wiring with a DMM before you go hooking things up, they are probably a negative trigger. Try testing some of the wires coming out of the door boot, or others at the plug for the keyless module and see if any of those will work. You could also go inside the door and get them at the switch but the ones coming out of the door boot would be easier.

They are, in fact, 12v positive trigger (Type-A), and the previous owner had the t-taps already installed on the correct wires. I removed them and installed new taps, but I'm not sure if the wires were cut somewhere down the line. I will just get the wires from the driver's side power window/lock switch. The colors are the same white and light blue...
