Fairly easy to do with a little bit of know how.
Fyi putting HIDs in to non-HID housings is illegal and could get you in trouble.

Take a look here My H4-(2) H.I.D. Install (w/ pics) - S-10 Forum
and do more searching. You have a single bulb headlight, so stock you have a 35/55watt halogen bulb, and you should look at bi-xenon HID bulbs as they will have the high beam being halogen the low will be HID xenon.

Don't skip on the relays and you may want to look into the big 3 upgrade also.

You may or may not have one bulb for both. You should be able to tell if you have the composites or sealed beam setup. Don't worry about doing the big 3 just for hids, you don't need it because hids actually draw less power once warmed up. Just use a relay harness as suggested.

If you have the composite headlights, you will need a 9006 kit for the low beams and a 9005 kit for the high beams. If you have sealed beams you will need an H4 conversion housing, then you would need a bi-xenon H4 hid kit. (or you can do a hid projector retrofit and not blind everyone)

If you have those, get the clear euros, and a 9006 hid kit, and you'll be good. Dont put HIDs in factory fluted lights or you will throw light everywhere. Or do a Retro like mentioned above
