rookie headlight problem...
#1
ok so i just installed my new motor and for some reason i have no headlights now, i have no dash lights, high low beam switch does nothing and no running lights. this is what i DO know:
-i have brake lights and signals
-i have 12 volts to my terminal block which i believe feeds to my harness inside my fuse box correct? the fusable link wire
- i have 12 volts on my alternator fusable link wire
- i have 12 volts to my fusable link wire to my starter
- my light switch has continuity from various positions so the switch works
- i have no power to my "dash light fuse" which leads me to belive i have no feed there, obviously, yet i dont know of any other fusable link wires that would control my headlights and not allow power to my plug that goes onto the swtich.. i tried looking in my wiring schematic but it shows the headlights coming from a fuse and i know the headlights dont so the schmatic seems wrong... yet i know i went wrong somewhere myself
